About

Club history

Since starting as a Back to Netball team in 2009, Didcot Netball Club has grown from strength to strength and has expanded to provide both a flourishing junior and senior section.

In 2014 the club registered for CAPS (Club Action Planning Scheme) and continues to hold bronze level status.

CAPS is aligned to the Sport England Clubmark (the accreditation scheme for clubs with junior sections). It ensures that accredited clubs operate to a set of consistent, accepted and adopted minimum operating standards.

Bronze CAPS is the first level, incorporating the Clubmark criteria covering the areas of safeguarding and protecting children and young people, quality coaching and officiating, competition, talent development, sports equity and good management.
